SheetGuard does not collect, store, or transmit your spreadsheet data.

The SheetGuard Add-in

The SheetGuard Excel add-in processes all spreadsheet data locally on your device. Your cell values, formulas, change history, filter presets, and tab folder configurations are stored in your browser's localStorage, IndexedDB, and your workbook's custom properties. No spreadsheet data is ever sent to our servers or any third party.

License Validation

When you activate or validate a SheetGuard Pro license, the add-in sends a hashed license key to our API (api.sheetguard.net) to verify your subscription status. This request contains only the key hash and your IP address (for rate limiting). No spreadsheet data, personal information, or usage analytics are included in these requests.

Website Analytics

The SheetGuard website (sheetguard.net) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for anonymized page view metrics (page views, referrers, browser type, country). No cookies are used. No personally identifiable information is collected. Cloudflare Web Analytics is GDPR-compliant without consent.
